| dc.description.abstract | El siguiente proyecto se basa en la realización de un estudio de vulnerabilidad para la restauración del antiguo edificio administrativo del Sanatorio Carlos Durán Cartín, el cual tiene más de 100 años de construcción y está declarado Patrimonio histórico – arquitectónico en el 2014. A partir de un escaneo láser se realizó el levantamiento geométrico con alto grado de detalle de la edificación patrimonial formada por cuatro niveles, con un área de construcción total de 1600m2. Se realizaron ensayos no destructivos y metodologías de diagnóstico para caracterizar todos los materiales que conforman los elementos estructurales vigas, columnas, entrepiso y cimentaciones. Así como demás elementos arquitectónicos. Además, gracias a la información obtenida, se realizó un estudio de vulnerabilidad estructural a partir de la evaluación de elementos estructurales y las deflexiones que presenta la estructura. Por otro lado, el estudio de vulnerabilidad realizado permitió generar una serie de recomendaciones de reforzamiento estructural que deben de tomarse en cuenta a la hora de restaurar el patrimonio. A partir de los resultados generados en el proyecto, se pretende producir documentación técnica referente a la edificación con el fin de que se preserve el inmueble y su historia en el campo de la medicina permanezca accesible a futuras generaciones; además, de proporcionar información actualizada del estado del edificio y recomendaciones para su conservación. | es_CR |
| dc.description.abstract | Inglés: This Project is based on the realization of a study of vulnerability for the restoration of the old administrative building of Sanatorio Carlos Durán Cartín. The building it´s more than 100 years old and it has been declared architectural historical heritage in 2014. From a laser scan, the geometrical survey was carried out with a very high detail of the patrimonial structure. The building consists of a basement and three more levels, with a total area of 1600m2. Non-destructive tests and diagnostic methodologies were carried out to characterize all the materials of the structural elements such as beams, columns, mezzanine floor and foundations. As well as other architectural elements. A structural vulnerability study was carried out using the information obtained from the evaluation of structural elements and the deflections that the structure. Moreover, the vulnerability study carried out made it possible to generate a series of recommendations for structural reinforcement that must be considered when intervening in the building. From the results of this project, it is ment to produce technical documentation regarding the building so that the property is preserved and its history in the field of medicine remains accessible to future generations; in addition, to provide updated information on the state of the building and recommendations for its conservation. | |
