| dc.description.abstract | Research includes the Historical journey of Social Policy of teenage motherhood in Costa Rica, from an integral approach that allows, through the dialectical method, reveal the expressions that incur in its configuration. For this, a historical ¿ critical analysis of the Expressions of Social Policy was developed, from which social forces and contextual aspects are pronounced, influencing the care of teenage mothers in Costa Rica. The attention to teenage pregnancy has been subject of interest of the Public agenda of Costa Rica, in response to international commitments and the related national legislation. The transformations in neoliberal State in the capitalist system, presents the emergence of international, private and third sector entities, involved in the configuration of Social Policy. Welfare has focused on the reduction of infant morbidity and mortality, meeting basic human needs of teenage mothers and its offspring, access to basic social services for teenage mothers, training and employment accessibility, and fighting poverty growth and reproduction. This Research concludes that the Social Care Policy for teenage motherhood in Costa Rica, has been influenced by processes of welfarisation regarding the targeting and fragmentation of social services to teenage mothers living in poverty. | es_CR |
