dc.description.abstractThis Professional Practice was held at Inversiones Garita S A, legally constituted almost 30 years ago, located in Limón Centro, 275 m north of MasxMenos, next to the Grupo Hayling's gas station, 6th Avenue. Inversiones Garita attacks two segments: the first and foremost are individuals, salaried, belonging to different social classes, especially those engaged in construction contracts. The other segment is the business one, composed of public and commercial companies. In the first chapter, the theoretical concepts that allow us to locate the subject in the context of the investigation are reviewed. Definitions as target Market, service, financial management, financial ratios, and market research are recognized, among others. Thus, it facilitates understanding of the practice and its objectives. Chapter II discloses the operation of Inversiones Garita and general aspects of the organization, such as geographic location and hours of operation are reviewed. Then, the financial situation is determined by analyzing financial statements, financial ratios and the study of the soundness of its financia! structure. The third chapter presents the analysis of the results of market research aimed at Liman companies about providing glass and aluminum in the central city of Liman, allowing the current situation of supply to the market of aluminum and glass, and scope of the issues raised in the project. Within this chapter is the investment proposal that could help address the need in the relevant market. Finally, chapter IV contains the development of the conclusions resulting from the investigation, and the recommendations made to the company in relation to the results, the academic experience and issued conclusions.es_CR
