The objective of this paper is to design a prototype incubator for chicken eggs, through the implementation of arduino microcontrollers whose power supply source is the use of photo- voltaic solar panels, aimed at the innovation of techniques that allow the efficiency of poultry production mechanisms. As justification we can emphasize the need to facilitate poultry pro- duction tools to micro and small enterprises, so that they can count on technified and inno- vative systems that allow the flexibility, mobility and adaptability involved in the hen egg incubation exercise. In terms of background, there currently is content that revolves around modernizing cu- rrent incubation practices, which undoubtedly require high investments and are technologies that are generally focused on macro levels, because they try to industrialize the market, many of these contributions have used from microcontrollers to renewable energy sources. In addi- tion to the above, there are studies more focused on hatching a certain species or quantity of eggs smaller than that of our project, but under the premise of proposing techniques that maximize the birth and efficiency of the equipment, the idea of the current project is to cap- ture as many concepts and encompass them in a team, and thus innovate, automate, and why not, apply it to larger and more efficient technologies. To meet the main objective of the project, it was essential to follow a methodology that would allow us to house all the concepts that revolve around the topic of incubation, leaving aside the biological part, and focusing more on the simulation through Ansys software, which undoubtedly was a challenge, as it required knowledge in many engineering areas before obtaining what we required, challenges...
